The portion sizes are generous and the prices are very good for Dubai standards.

I know there is a lot of hype about this place but it wasn’t out of this world. The neighborhood was stretchy. There are no places that are unsafe in Dubai but I wouldn’t want to walk through that crowd again. We took the subway/metro to get there and it’s just 2 mins walk from the Fahadi stop. The restaurant doesn’t accept credit cards. The soup however was good but there were barely any chicken pieces. So if you can drive to this place or are in the neighborhood, go ahead. Since I am not from Dubai, I can’t recommend other options.
