Vegan Persian Kabob Recipe kabab tabei l kebab کباب کوبیده ( برای سبزی خواران )
We are super excited to share with you our Vegan Kabob koobideh recipe!
Before going vegan or vegetarian, our biggest worry was missing Kabob! Because Kabob is such a staple in our household! We eat Kabob for almost every event or celebration that we have. It’s a middle eastern delicacy. Our mom (who transformed all of her dishes into vegan dishes for us) came up with this recipe right off the bat years ago. Ever since then we’ve never worried about eating Kabob because this Vegan Kebab is just as amazing without the cruelty! This recipe is very easy and can be made in about half an hour from start to finish. We always eat our Kabob with Salad Shirazi (Persian salad) and Persian Rice with Tadeek (aka “crunchy rice”). Our beautiful mom helped this video because we can only thank her for these Vegan Persian recipes. All the credit is hers! And as everyone knows, a mom’s recipe is always the best! From Our Vegan Home To Yours, ~ The Vegan Twins Vegan Kabob Ingredients: – 1 Large Yellow Onion (or White) – 3-4 Garlic Cloves – 1 package of Lightlife Gimme Lean Vegan Sausage (or “Beef” version) – 1 tsp Turmeric – ½ tsp Ground Black Pepper – ¾ tsp Sea Salt (add more to taste) – ¾ tsp Sumac (found at your local Middle Eastern Market or online… sub lemon pepper if you don’t have sumac) – 3-4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil for cooking Vegan Kebab – 3 Roma Tomatoes to cook along with vegan Kebab
